A very in-depth history of Cumberland Island that is a tedious slog to get through to the end. So many places are referenced, but there are no maps in the book to allow Mary Bullard. book to locate the places mentioned on the island either historically or in the present day.

This book is so dense that it took me the better part of a month to read through it all/5. Loved this book of Mary Cassatt's paintings featuring her use of oils and pastels. Really enjoyed her paintings of mothers and children.
